üstte verdiğim bilgilerle XAMPP yerel sunucu kurduysanız
ve elgg kurarken bu hata mesajını alıyorsanız

Elgg error: Apache does not have mod_rewrite loaded. Please check your Apache setup.
bu hatadan kurtulmak için

önce xampp kontrol panelinden apache ve mysql i kapatın

C:\xampplite\apache\conf dizinine gidip httpd.conf dosyasını notepad ile açın
notepad te mod_rewrite diye arama yapın
bu satırı göreceksiniz.

#LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so

satırın başındaki # işaretini silin ve dosyayı kaydedin.

tekrar xampp kontrol panelinden apache ve mysql i çalıştırın

tekrar http://localhost/elgg/ sayfasına gidip kuruluma devam ederseniz artık üsteki hatayı almayacaksınız.

isterseniz elgg kurmaya başlamadan önce httpd.conf dosyasındaki üstte anlattığım değişikliği yaparsanız
o zaman o hata mesajını almadan elgg kurabilirsiniz.
